Insulin-dependent diabetes does not qualify for that Sedera carve-out. Maintenance medications are excluded. Does Samaritan Ministries share type 1 diabetes?
No. Samaritan Ministries permanently excludes type 1 diabetes. This site does not enroll Samaritan Ministries and does not name Samaritan Ministries as a winner. Christian Healthcare Ministries treats diabetes as pre-existing until 12 months symptom- and treatment-free. Medi-Share uses a 36-month pre-existing wait. CrowdHealth keeps pre-existing needs ineligible for two years. None of those rules are insurance.

Zion HealthShare is the only payable plan whose file lists type 1 diabetes as a day-one carve-out, with the no-hospitalization and manage-with-medication caveats.
